<p>There are five steps:</p>
<ol>
<li>Give yourself some space and time from the situation.</li>
<li>Listen to the quiet, calm voice in your head that&#8217;s telling you the right thing to do.</li>
<li>When you&#8217;re ready, just say you&#8217;re sorry. Don&#8217;t wait.</li>
<li>Make It a Habit.</li>
<li>Identify patterns in your life that you need to apologize for over and over, and fix them.</li>
